01 What personal data do we process?
Taurus VPN is committed to privacy and online freedom, and we strive to clearly explain how we handle and protect your personal information. We want you to understand the limited information we collect and what happens to that information when you use Taurus VPN services.
This document outlines the privacy policies applicable to all information collected when you use Taurus VPN services. If you have any questions, please contact us via the in-app settings.
02 Processing of Personal Data
At the core of our service is the Taurus VPN private network, which provides private and secure data transmission. When you use the Taurus VPN service, our application establishes and maintains an encrypted tunnel between your device and our network.
We ensure that we never log browsing history, traffic destinations, data content, or DNS queries. However, certain information is necessary for the proper technical operation of the service. To maintain excellent customer support and service quality, Taurus VPN collects the following information related to your VPN usage:
- We collect information related to your activated client, such as device model, device language, and app version. Knowing this basic information helps our support team troubleshoot technical issues with you.
- We collect information regarding whether a VPN connection was successfully established, the connection time, and the selected VPN location. This minimal information helps us provide technical support (such as identifying connection issues) and enables us to identify and fix network problems.
- We track the total volume of data traffic used by the client. Although we offer unlimited data transfer on free servers, if we detect that a free user is consuming more traffic than thousands of other users combined—thereby affecting the service quality for other free users—that user may be denied service due to abnormal traffic usage.
Your browsing is private and secure. Once you disconnect from the Taurus VPN server, we cannot guarantee your continued security; you assume all associated risks. Please note that while Taurus VPN helps protect your internet sessions, it does not protect your device against malware, Trojans, or viruses. We recommend using an antivirus solution alongside our service to protect your device.
03 Third-Party Advertisers
Taurus VPN uses third parties ("Third Parties") to serve advertisements. These Third Parties may use technologies—including, but not limited to, cookies—to access certain data (including cookies) in order to evaluate the effectiveness of their advertisements. Third-Party activities are not controlled by Taurus VPN and fall outside the scope of the Taurus VPN Privacy Policy; instead, they are governed by the privacy policies of the respective Third-Party advertisers. Taurus VPN is not the publisher of Third-Party content accessed through the Service and assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, or delivery of any opinions, advice, statements, messages, services, graphics, data, or other information provided by Third Parties. Third-Party content is not under the control of Taurus VPN, and Taurus VPN accepts no liability for any damages or losses arising from the use of or reliance on any Third-Party content. Links to Third-Party content are provided solely for your convenience and do not imply any endorsement or recommendation of such Third-Party resources or content by Taurus VPN.
